Tender: Bilingual Integrated Marketing and Behaviour‑Change Campaign for RHOI – Pilot in Bala & Betws‑y‑Coed

Eryri National Park Authority is seeking a supplier for an experienced marketing and communications provider to develop and deliver an integrated bilingual Welsh/English marketing and behaviour‑change campaign for RHOI, a new initiative encouraging visitors and local people to take positive environmental, cultural and community actions in return for rewards from participating businesses and organisations. The programme will initially pilot in Bala and Betws‑y‑Coed with the aim to grow across the wider Eryri region; activities will be delivered by partner organisations, community groups and businesses. Examples of behaviours RHOI could encourage include choosing public transport, volunteering, litter‑picking or conservation activities, supporting local cultural activity, learning or using Welsh, and other activities that benefit the communities and environment. The campaign should prioritise behaviour change as well as awareness and app downloads, further develop the user journey (SEE → UNDERSTAND → JOIN → ACT → REWARD → SHARE → REPEAT) and identify the communications, behavioural interventions and marketing activity required at each stage; it is not intended to operate as a conventional discount or loyalty scheme.
