Provider needed to deliver the COMPASS Community Domestic Abuse Support Service across the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport, offering a flexible, trauma-informed and person-centred combination of safe accommodation-based support and community-based domestic abuse services for individuals experiencing domestic abuse regardless of risk level, age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, immigration status or socioeconomic background. The service must support victim-survivors of all genders, those with or without children, people currently living with or separated from the person causing harm, children and young people impacted by domestic abuse or displaying harmful behaviours, and adults who cause harm through evidence-based and accredited behaviour change interventions. The provider must recognise the gendered nature of domestic abuse while ensuring appropriate support for people of all backgrounds, respond to the frequent co-occurrence of issues such as poor mental health, substance misuse, homelessness, poverty, social exclusion and exploitation, and address all forms of abuse including physical, sexual, emotional and psychological abuse, coercive and controlling behaviour, economic abuse, stalking, harassment, technology-facilitated abuse, honour-based abuse, forced marriage and post-separation abuse, with risk assessment, safety planning and interventions that reflect the full range of experiences and risks.
