About

Choice Housing is seeking developers to provide land and deliver design and build social housing projects in the Craigavon area as part of the Social Housing Development Programme (SHDP). Appointed developer(s) will supply land and carry out design and construction to meet the Department for Communities’ Housing Association Guide and statutory requirements (e.g. Planning Permission, Building Control approval), while adhering to Choice Housing’s Design Requirements guide, Employer’s Requirements and performance specifications. The competition seeks developments of up to 35 units from each potential supplier and may award contracts to multiple developers, so total output could exceed 35 units depending on the quantity and quality of submissions; the number of dwellings for each project will be subject to funding and accommodation mix support from the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE).
