About

Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a supplier for an Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) integrated software solution covering implementation, integration, configuration, testing, training, deployment, technical support and ongoing maintenance. The solution must support secure electronic generation, authorisation and transmission of NHS prescriptions via the national NHS EPS, integrate with the Trust’s existing MEDITECH Electronic Patient Record and relevant national NHS services, and support interoperability with Care Identity Service 2 (CIS2), the Personal Demographics Service (PDS) and the NHS Dictionary of Medicines and Devices. It must enable appropriate clinical prescribing workflows including electronic signing, prescription management, clinical safety, information governance, auditability and operational reporting, and be scalable to reduce paper prescriptions and support digitally enabled medicines management across Trust pathways.
