The Gambling Commission is seeking one or two suppliers to conduct two separate evaluation scoping studies to increase its capacity to evaluate new requirements and policies using data and analytics and to demonstrate improved understanding of outcomes and evaluation approaches. Lot 1 focuses on identifying optimum approaches for evaluating the complex topic of harm reduction approaches, including customer interaction, while Lot 2 explores how collaborative approaches and co-production can be applied to evaluation in the gambling sector. The recommendations and outputs from both studies will inform the Commission’s future evaluation approaches and contribute to wider policy considerations.
