Tender: GL RFCA Kitchen Replacement: Electric Kitchens at St John’s Hill (Battersea) and White City Army Reserve Centres, London

GL RFCA is seeking a supplier to replace the existing gas-fired kitchens with new electrically-fired kitchens at the Army Reserve Centres in St John’s Hill, Battersea (SW11 1TT) and White City, South Africa Road, White City (W12 7RW), London. This below-threshold, invitation-only project requires suppliers who are already onboarded to the Central Digital Platform and the Symphony finance system; only invited suppliers will be asked to attend a site open day and only invited submissions will be evaluated. The works include stripping out and removing all gas-fired equipment, gas meters (if within the kitchen) and gas pipework back to the meters; installing a new 100A TPN supply from the existing main incoming switch panel to a new kitchen distribution board; supplying and installing new electric kitchen appliances as noted on the drawings and a new power distribution system to all equipment; supplying and installing new lighting and new fire alarm devices to connect to the buildings’ existing fire alarm systems; for White City, supplying and installing a new extract duct from the ground-floor kitchen hood to the roof; cleaning existing ductwork and testing existing extract fans; and testing and commissioning all kitchen systems.
