Tender: Leicestershire Parent and Carer Engagement Forum for Family Hubs & Best Start for Life (DfE 2026–2029)

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a supplier to establish and coordinate a dedicated parent and carer engagement forum to support delivery of the 2026–2029 Department for Education Family Hubs and Start for Life Programme. The commissioned provider will gather the voices and experiences of families from conception to age 2 and during transition into services for older children, ensuring local families actively contribute to the design, delivery and continuous improvement of Family Hubs and Best Start for Life services. The provider will recruit, engage, train and mentor parents and carers to participate in co-production activities and create a sustainable model that empowers families to lead and support ongoing forums, helping to meet national expectations for family participation, co-design and collaboration and ensuring services reflect the needs of Leicestershire communities.
