About

Linstone Housing is seeking a contractor for removal of RAAC beneath existing roofs of top-floor flats and common close areas and for replacement of the existing membrane roof and associated works at 1 & 2 Alford Place and 160, 182 & 202 Gilmartin Road, Linwood, Renfrewshire. The works include removal of existing RAAC, bituminous roof coverings, timber supports and ceiling finishes; formation of temporary crash decks and installation of acrow props beneath affected areas; installation of a new single ply roofing membrane, insulation, timber joists, timber supports, fireline boarding and suspended ceiling systems; infilling sections of existing wall pockets with new engineering brickwork; replacement of roof tiling, battens, membrane, sarking boards, fascia, verge and soffit boards to butterfly pitched roofs; rot surveys and remedial works to joist ends; replacement of top-floor common close windows and finishes; and alterations to light fittings within common close and top-floor flat areas where RAAC is removed.
