Plymouth City Council is seeking input from unpaid carers, former carers, family members, health and social care professionals and community representatives at an interactive co-production workshop to help design the city’s future Adult Unpaid Carers Service. The session will gather views on current carers’ support, identify priorities for improvement and influence how future support is delivered; it takes place Monday 23 November, 10:00am–12:30pm at the Sustainability Hub, Kirkby Lodge, Plymouth University City Centre Campus. There are an estimated 24,000 unpaid carers in Plymouth and, as the current commissioned service reaches the end of its contract, this workshop will directly inform the development of a new service; spaces are limited, so please email [email protected] or telephone 01752 307074 and ask for Kate Lattimore to book a place.
