About

RAF Falcons is seeking a supplier for UK-based light aircraft and pilot services to support parachuting activity under a three-year contract from 1 March 2027 to 28 February 2030. The contract covers seasons and training from 1 March to 31 October each year and requires a light aircraft, one full-time pilot and associated support enablers to deliver up to 130 flying hours per year; the aircraft must meet Release-to-Service (RTS) requirements for manual military freefall parachute dispatch as detailed in the Compendium of Airborne Equipment Release Certificates (CAERC) and confirmed by Trials & Evaluation from the Joint Aerial Delivery Test and Evaluation Unit Parachute Test Team (JADTEU PTT). The supplier must also provide up to 90 Fire and Crash Cover (FCC) hours (30 per season), tender and support vehicles, crash equipment, extinguishing consumables and suitably qualified FCC crews, plan and coordinate FCC, and ensure operating airfields and facilities allow the appropriate level of crash cover in accordance with ICAO, DSA02 and DSA03 for light aircraft.
