The University of Huddersfield is seeking a contractor to carry out remedial and improvement landscaping works outside The Emily Siddon Building as shown on Appendix 8 - Car Park Remedial Works Drawing. This is a request for quotation (not a full tender) and interested, suitably experienced contractors must inspect the site, review the drawings, verify the extent and conditions of the works, and submit a complete quotation covering labour, plant, materials, delivery, protection, waste removal, testing, making good and completion requirements. The previously issued planting plan and plant schedule must not be used as fixed pricing information because the main car park layout has changed; the extent of grassed and planted areas and the species and quantities required will be reviewed on site and agreed with the Employer’s Representative before finalising the quotation or ordering planting materials.
