BNSSG, Gloucestershire, Devon and CIOS Integrated Care Boards are seeking a supplier to deliver sight testing and the dispensing of spectacles to children and young people in special educational settings across the South West region, covering Devon, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly (CIOS), Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) and Gloucestershire. The procurement is split into two lots (Lot 1: BNSSG and Gloucestershire; Lot 2: Devon and CIOS) and will be run as a competitive open Invitation to Tender managed by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners. Contracts run for 3 years and 5 months (including mobilisation) with a possible extension of up to 2 years, both due to commence on 01 April 2027 with service delivery anticipated from 01 September 2027; the annual contract value is £306,000 for Lot 1 (total maximum £1,530,000 including extension) and £350,000 for Lot 2 (total maximum £1,750,000 including extension).
