The requirement is divided into five Lots covering stairlifts, domestic lifting equipment, hoisting equipment, specialist toileting equipment and specialist bathing equipment, with precise equipment and services set out in the Specification and Pricing Schedule. Associated services may include site assessment, survey, design, manufacture or sourcing, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, user demonstration, warranty support, planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, replacement parts, emergency attendance, removal, storage, refurbishment, relocation, disposal and minor associated building, electrical, plumbing or making-good works. Tenderers may submit a Tender for one or more Lots; each Lot will be assessed and awarded separately in accordance with the published Conditions of Participation and Award Criteria. The Council does not guarantee any minimum level or value of work. The initial contract term is two years with the option to extend for up to a further two years in two separate one-year periods, subject to satisfactory performance and the Council’s ongoing requirements.
