About

NHS Grampian is seeking a supplier for the hire, delivery, positioning, installation, connection, testing, commissioning, maintenance, breakdown support, decommissioning and removal of a temporary packaged boiler plant at Turner Hospital, Turner Street, Keith, Banffshire AB55 5DJ to provide winter heating resilience. The temporary boiler must deliver a minimum nominal thermal output of 205 kW (approximately 700,000 BTU/h); a dual-fuel natural gas/oil solution is preferred, but tenderers may propose natural-gas-fired or oil-fired alternatives provided they satisfy the minimum thermal duty and all tender specification requirements. Tenderers must provide the manufacturer and model of the proposed boiler together with its rated output, fuel arrangement, boiler efficiency rating, modulation range and supporting technical data, and the successful contractor will be responsible for a complete operational temporary boiler solution including mobilisation, temporary hydraulic and fuel connections, electrical connections, controls, flue arrangements, testing and commissioning, planned maintenance, breakdown support and eventual decommissioning and removal. A mandatory pre-installation site survey will be required following contract award to verify site and system interfaces before mobilisation.
