Wolverhampton City Council has opened bidding for three four-year housing maintenance contracts worth £26.4 million, with tenders due by 14 December 2026, according to a notice on ProContract.
The contracts cover general building maintenance, electrical, roofing and adaptation works to empty homes, tenanted homes and communal areas across Wolverhampton. Two planned contracts are split between North and South Wolverhampton, and a citywide responsive contract will handle tenant requests, including work under Awaab's Law and disrepair claims with prescribed timescales.
A supplier or company group may be awarded only one of the three contracts. If a supplier bids for more than one, the buyer will determine the most advantageous tender for each award.
Past construction suppliers to the council include Morro Partnerships (£18.9 million), Midwest Mechanical and Electrical Services (£12.6 million) and William Gough & Sons (£12.5 million) in GovMarket records.
In 2026, the council has awarded 88 contracts worth £106.3 million in GovMarket records.
Bids close on 14 December 2026. The contracts run for four years from 3 May 2027 to 2 May 2031.
