About

The Council is seeking a supplier for a Derbyshire pet boarding and animal care service to support the delivery of statutory duties and responsibilities in emergency circumstances by providing responsive, flexible and welfare-focused short-term placements when an individual receiving support from Adult Social Care and Health is temporarily unable to care for their pet. Facilities must be within a 10 mile radius of the Derbyshire boarder, and the provider must recognise animal welfare needs and work collaboratively with The Council and other relevant organisations to ensure animals are cared for safely, lawfully and in accordance with recognised standards of animal welfare.
