Tender: Gambling Harm Awareness Training for Public Sector and VCS Staff – York

A provider is sought to design and deliver training to increase awareness of gambling-related harms, enabling staff to identify, respond to and signpost individuals who may be experiencing gambling harms. The training must be suitable for a range of workforce groups, mainly from public sector and voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations, and for staff who have not previously received gambling harm awareness training but are likely to be working with people experiencing gambling harm. This training forms part of a wider public health approach to preventing and reducing gambling-related harms and improving access to support services within York, and the provider must demonstrate a good understanding of the types of onward signposting available for staff working in York. The maximum value of the contract is £28,500 across 36 months, with an initial 12-month period valued at £9,500 and the option of two 12-month extensions at £9,500 per year at the local authority's discretion.
